By AFRICA BUSINESS CLUB
The Africa Business Club aims to begin an African Diaspora Day Series at Johns Hopkins University. This event will highlight how Africans in the United States are making an impact in their fields, and how they are giving back to the continent. The goal of Africa Diaspora Day is to ensure the engagement of diaspora and migrants as entrepreneurs, social investors, policy advocates and partners in human development while simultaneously combatting the negative stereotype towards the continent, its people and culture. We hope that the African Diaspora Day Series serves all with a platform to begin discussions on how we promote positive diaspora and migrant advancement and build bridges between Africa and the other continents.
